Scottish Royal Arch Masonry celebrated its 100
years of existence within
The Holy Royal Arch is one of two other orders
mentioned in the Tasmanian Craft Constitution under Section 4. I quote “
Freemasonry shall include the following degrees, viz: The
Entered apprentice, the Fellow Craft, the Master Mason, the Mark Master Mason,
the Excellent Master and the Supreme Degree of the holy Royal Arch.”.

Members seeking admission to Royal Arch Degree
Freemasonry in the Scottish Constitution must be Master Masons of good standing
and a continuing members of a craft lodge in the Tasmanian jurisdiction.
October 2008 saw the split of Scottish Freemasonry
in
The Tasmanian District of the Supreme Grand Chapter
of Scotland is headed by a Grand Superintendent who is appointed for a five year
term.
The District Grand Chapter of Tasmania has a
ceremonial team which consists of a number of Royal Arch Masons who have sought
nomination for various offices and who as a team conduct the installation
ceremonies for the Chapters, Lodge and Council and Cryptic Councils.
