Message from our Grand Master

On behalf of the Freemasons of Tasmania I extend  a warm invitation to join us in Hobart in February, 2011 for the Installation of R. W. Bro. Campbell John Wallace as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Tasmania.

A vice-regal reception, hosted by the Governor of Tasmania, His Excellency Justice Peter Underwood, at our beautiful Government House on Thursday 24th February 20011, will herald the start of the four day celebration.

The official events will conclude on Sunday with a Church Service at St. David's Cathedral followed by luncheon.

Hobart offers a wealth of historical sights and heritage buildings.  I hope that you can find time to explore, enjoy and apprciate the charm of our city, most within walking distance of your accommodation.

Cyrene and I, together with the Grand Master-elect, John Wallace and his wife Elva, will enjoy renewing friendships with the many Freemasons that we have had the good fortune of meeting over the last few years.

We look forward to welcoming all Freemasons from throughout Australasia and their ladies you Hobart in February.

Transport from and to the Hobart airport should be arranged through the airport shuttle bus service
